Every MediaServe LLC account is in the name of a specific individual with a unique email address. To protect the account owner's domain names and services, only the owner, or a secondary contact to which the owner has given login and management privileges, are authorized to make changes to the account, and must do so by logging in to the account online to make said changes.
If this individual leaves the organization, he or she is responsible for updating the MediaServe LLC account to reflect the new responsible party's name and email address. This can be done following the steps outlined in this knowledgebase article.
If the responsible party has left the organization, but can still be contacted, consider having that person provide you with the login credentials, and if the former responsible party doesn't remember them, consider having the person use the password reset page to reset the password.
If the responsible party has left the organization and can no longer be contacted, and the new responsible party does not have the login information necessary to update the MediaServe LLC account, you have two options to request that we update your account for you:
Contact Us and provide either the last four digits of the credit card stored on the account, or the answer to the security question, and also provide the new name and email address. We'll update the account and email you a randomly generated password.
If unable to complete item 1 above, scan and email a letter signed by the new responsible party, on the organization's letterhead, to contact@mediaserve.com, explaining the situation and providing the new responsible party's name and email address. We will then attempt to contact the prior responsible party, and if we obtain approval, or the prior party does not respond, we will update the account and provide you with a new randomly generated password.
