How do I transfer a domain name away from MediaServe LLC?

If you have a domain name registered here at MediaServe LLC, but you need to transfer it to another registrar or hosting company, the steps are:

1. Make sure the domain name is unlocked, the contact information is up to date, and get the epp code for the domain name.

2. Make sure the domain name was not registered or renewed within the last 60 days. The ICANN transfer policy does not allow for domains to be transfered to a new registrar for 60 days after initial registration, or 60 days after a previous inter-registrar transfer.

3. Initiate the transfer procedure with the company to which you will be transferring the domain name.
