MediaServe LLC dates back to March of 1999, when it was launched as SQL Vision, a hosting service for people who developed websites on Microsoft Windows using the IIS web server and Microsoft SQL Server as a database storage platform. Prior to this, our founder was active in the online BBS (bulletin board system) community, a predecessor of the world wide web, from 1982 to 1992.
As we grew, we gradually changed our focus, moving away from Microsoft hosting to the more popular (and arguably more stable and secure) Linux operating system and the many popular scripting languages and databases available on that platform.
Our company has been through a few rebrands along the way, settling on the MediaServe brand in 2008.
MediaServe LLC is registered in the State of Texas, where our networking equipment, servers and storage arrays are colocated at the Carrier-1 Data Center in Dallas. The real work happens within the data center, but we're also registered as a foreign LLC in the State of Tennessee, where we manage the business from dedicated home office space in beautiful rural Castalian Springs, Northeast of Nashville.
